Arnbjörg María Danielsen

Arnbjörg María Danielsen is an Icelandic-born dramaturge, director, and producer specialising in contemporary music, theatre, and opera.

As the founder and artistic director of marvaða, Arnbjörg leads a creative collective that fosters interdisciplinary collaborations, blending music, theatre, and visual arts. Through marvaða, she has developed a platform that champions innovative artistic expressions and nurtures emerging talent, creating immersive experiences for audiences.

Arnbjörg's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Opera and Music Theatre from the Mozarteum University of Salzburg and an Executive Master of Arts Administration from the University of Zürich. She is also the co-founder of the Disko Arts Festival in Greenland's Disko Bay, celebrating Arctic culture and fostering cultural exchange.
