
Katrín Helga Andrésdóttir
Katrín Helga is the author and director of the short film Hex, which won the Sólveig Anspach Award in 2023, was nominated to New Nordic Voice at Nordisk Panorama, nominated as short film of the year at Eddan and received an honorary mention for Exceptional Vision at Stockfish Film Festival. She is half of the duo Ultraflex, who have released the albums 'Infinite Wellness' and 'Visions of Ultraflex', winning the Icelandic Music Awards and The Kraumur Awards and received numerous additional nominations.
She also carries out the solo project Special-K, was a member of Daughters of Reykjavík 2013 - 2021 and played in Sóley Stefánsdóttir’s live band 2016 - 2018. She was the musical director of the metal ballet 'Satanvatnið' that was shown at Tjarnarbíó in 2023 and 2024.
